What is a social media audit?
A social media audit is an evaluation of your social media channels to ensure that each channel is on brand and still in line with your core values. It allows you to really analyze your performance and audience in general.
Measure your results across the board
First things first, you need to really measure how you’re doing on every single social media channel. Take account of the channel’s overall likes or followers and engagement per post. I personally recommend keeping track of your results monthly so you can see how each channel is growing over time as well but an overall analysis of your results is important.
Analyze your audience
During a social media audit, you also need to analyze your audience to make sure that you’re reaching the exact audience that you want to reach. Of course, you may have a few followers or subscribers who are not your ideal audience but that is to be expected and is nothing that you need to worry about.
Make sure all channels are consistent and on brand
To keep all channels consistent, you should be portraying the same message on each channel. You should also use the same profile picture across all social media platforms for consistency purposes.
